Aberystwyth University

Aberystwyth is situated between the Cambrian Mountains and the Irish Sea, hugging the mid-Wales coast. Direct trains from Shrewsbury, Birmingham New Street, and Birmingham International Airport make us accessible to North and South Wales, the Midlands, and International visitors. Aberystwyth Arts Centre can accommodate up to 980 delegates in the Great Hall, plus Theatre, Cinema, and Studios adaptable for your needs. Extensive lecture and seminar rooms for up to 347 delegates. The scale of the accommodation is unrivalled in Mid Wales, with up to 2000 bedrooms all within a short walk of our main facilities. Budget, ensuite, and premium ensuite options are available during the summer months. Budget accommodation is open year-round. Cardiff University offers a range of services, including year-round meeting and conference facilities, event catering, and summer accommodation from early July to early September. Based in the heart of Wales’ Capital City, Cardiff has space for up to 550 delegates and the main building features heavily in Doctor Who and His Dark Materials! This university is big on innovation and brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and academic spin-outs.

USW’s reputation for working closely with industry has extended into our Conference & Events department, where we have established ourselves as a professional, flexible, and trusted event venue in the South Wales region.  With campuses in Cardiff, Pontypridd, and Newport, the University is approx. 2 hours from London and the venue offer is varied, extensive, and flexible. USW welcomes over 30,000 conference delegates each year and has managed 400+ event bookings.

USW can host events for up to 800 delegates and has over 1000 bedrooms during July and August (making it the largest accommodation provider in Rhondda Cynon Taff each Summer).
