Swansea University is proud to host the fifth annual New IPM Symposium, bringing together an international community of researchers, growers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and investors to explore the future of sustainable food systems.

With this year’s theme, “Future Food Systems: Sustainable, Resilient and Nature-Positive Pathways”, the three-day symposium will examine how nature-based innovation can help address global challenges in agriculture and food production. The programme will explore topics including integrated pest management, biological crop protection, algae and natural products, soil health, biodiversity, biomaterials, sustainable packaging, AI and robotics, and the commercialisation of emerging technologies.

Hosted at the Bay Campus, the symposium will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, exhibitions and networking opportunities, creating a platform for collaboration between academia, industry and government. Delegates will have the opportunity to share knowledge, discover the latest research and innovations, and build partnerships that support more sustainable, resilient and future-ready food systems.
