International Ozone Association Conference to take place at Swansea University

This October our Bay Campus will play host to the International Ozone Association (IOA) Conference.

The event will take place in the Engineering Quarter with networking sessions and poster displays located along the galleries of our iconic Great Hall building.

The International Ozone Association Conference will continue a long series of successful conferences organised to provide an international forum bringing together researchers and professionals concerned with fundamental, engineering and applied aspects of oxidation techniques involving ozone and related advanced oxidation systems.

The two day conference will provide an overview of the current state of knowledge and latest advances regarding the use of Ozone and Advanced Oxidation for providing sustainable solutions to a range of significant societal issues related to water, food, health, and the environment.

Key lectures and speakers include:

  • Water Energy Food and Health Nexus by Prof. Geoff Maitland Imperial College London
  • Ozone and Advance Oxidation Processes to Provide Sustainability for Water Systems by Dr. Saad Y. Jasim, P.Eng., Manager, Utilities, City of White Rock, British Columbia, Canada

As well as hearing all the latest developments concerning ozone and related advanced oxidation systems, event delegates will also get the opportunity to network and socialise through a series of social events, sightseeing and technical tours.
